Carlingford Adventures Day 2

20th Jun 2023

After a lovely supper last night and lots of fun and laughter, we welcomed lots of sleepy heads 😴  to breakfast this morning!  At 9am we set off on foot towards Slieve Foye to compete against each other in Laser Combat. This proved great fun and extremely competitive, especially between teaching staff. Later we played last man standing, with Matthew and Mr. Hutchinson the final 2, but after great tactics from both, Matthew just proved too much for the boss 😆.

Afterwards, we made the journey by foot again to Sky Park where we enjoyed a tasty lunch. Afterwards we completed the variety of challenging mazes, one of which was in pitch darkness 🤔.

Finally, we finished our afternoon as Vikings, throwing axes and taking part in archery and well as solving some group games and challe get too.

The children have been excellent over the 2 days and a credit to Hamiltonsbawn PS. They will have definately created many memories to treasure from their P7 Residential to Carlingford.  Finally, a huge thank you to staff members Mr. Johnston, Mr. Sanderson and Mrs Beattie for supporting me on the trip. We really enjoyed your company.
