Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. The Hungry Caterpillar in P2

Our new topic in P2 is Minibeasts and we have been looking at the story of the Hungry Caterpillar. This week we have been making our own caterpillars using coloured circles and have been playing in our tuff tray. We have also been developing our fine motor skills by using the tweezers to lift tiny bugs and rolling playdough into balls. Mrs Megaw has also been setting up our outdoor play area so we can’t wait to dig for minibeasts, play in the sand and cook in our mud kitchen. Look out for more pictures next week as we continue our topic.
