Subtraction through decomposition/regrouping

Please find 2 examples of how subtraction is taught in Hamiltonsbawn Primary School and all Primary Schools.  Currently P4 and P5 are learning how to subtract.  Please follow these examples and refrain from using a 'one to the top and one to the bottom' approach. Don't be afraid to ask any teacher who will be happy to explain or work through some worked examples.
