Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. Structured Play in P2/3

We have been very busy in P2/3 finishing off our Pets topic and starting Autumn. Last week we had to search for bones in the sand, use tweezers to lift the pets out of the sawdust and match the pets to their homes. We have also loved looking after our class puppy called Benji. Everyone had turns to brush, feed and cuddle him. He also went outside for walks with us. This week Mrs Megaw has set up some Autumn activities for us. We have loved playing in the tuff tray, have used the cinnamon playdough to make spikey hedgehogs and have been lifting the conkers using tweezers to help develop our fine motor skills. The P2 children are also making hedgehogs for our noticeboard.
