Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. The moment P6/7 had been waiting for had finally arrived as we set off from Hamiltonsbawn at 9.30am heading for the Newcastle coast.  After eating and getting their equipment, Val and Michael (Shannagh-More Instructors) took us all on an adventure trail through Tullymore Forest Park.  (We'll let the photographs tell the story!).

After dinner, we set off to explore Murlough Beach and the children really enjoyed running the boardwalks and climbing the sand dunes, searching along the way for the roundest stone.

Finally, back at Shannagh-more, Steven, Jamie and Ryan helped the teachers prepare supper to perfection (obviously used to doing this at home mums and dads!), before a movie and lights out for bedtime.  A great first day with an amazing group of children.
