Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. Roots of Empathy

Primary 6/7 have been invited to participate in a program called Roots of Empathy. This program teaches our children about feelings, their own feelings, and the feelings of others.

Once every three weeks, baby Ella will be visiting our classroom, giving Primary 6/7 the opportunity to watch her grow as she reaches the natural developmental milestones of her first year of life.

The children will also be observing baby Ella and learning the cues a baby gives as to how they are feeling. This will lead to discussion as a lever for the children to talk about their own emotions and to notice how their classmates are feeling.
