Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. Polar Lands

We are continuing our Polar Lands topic in P2/3 this week. The children have been learning about Polar Bears and Penguins. We made Polar Bears and Penguins using paper plates and wrote some great facts about them. We have also made snowmen using playdough and have really enjoyed playing in the water tray which Mrs Megaw put ice bergs in. It was so cold!! Finally this week we have been scooping and pouring using coloured rice as well as developing our fine motor skills lifting sugar cubes with tweezers. Next week we will be learning how Inuits live in the Arctic.
