Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. P6/7 - Mental health awareness day

The children in P6/7 had a fantastic day celebrating mental health awareness day today. We started with positive thoughts about ourselves and others and shared some of these together. They created a comic including some very creative heroes based around some of the key words around mental health. They also enjoyed some delicious buns very generously made and donated to the school. After an extended break time, they got moving in the classroom and learnt about how exercise and activities can help to make our bodies and minds feel better. Next they learnt some techniques for calming and finally they thought about all the things they value the most in an art activity. A great way to celebrate mental health awareness day!
