Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. Hamiltonsbawn Football Festival at Kilcluney

Today nine schools competed at Kilcluney for the Burn's soccer Cup.  A great morning of football was played in 2 groups on 2 pitches refereed by the Burns Soccer School coaches.  Hamiltonsbawn, Cortamlet, Derryhale and Churchill competed in Group 1.  Mullaglass, Lisnadill, Bessbrook, Newtownhamilton and Drumhillery competed in Group 2.  The top 2 in each group played in the semi-final before Mullaglass narrowly defeated Derryhale on penalties after full-time at 0-0. 

A big thank you to all schools who attended today and especially to the staff of Burns Soccer School and Kilcluney for the use of their fantastic pitch and facilities.
