It was a pleasure to have Deborah from Thrive Academy in Primary 5 this morning. Deborah shared lots of important information with the children about keeping safe online. Everyone had lots of fun and particularly enjoyed all the great games!

We were delighted to have Rev. Peter Munce lead our school assembly on Friday. Today P6/7 enjoyed a change to their timetable with a taster session led by Eimear (Sports Development Officer for golf). We could definitely be looking at the next Rory McIlroy in Hamiltonsbawn! πŸ‘ŒπŸŽ‰. We had such an enjoyable time learning about the painting The Magpie by Claude Monet on Tuesday afternoon. We heard about Monet’s life and how this painting was supposed to be one of Monet’s best. The boys and girls looked carefully at the painting before beginning, noticing various parts of the painting like the wall and trees as well as the Magpie itself. What a great afternoon we had with Ruth from the Ulster Scots Agency. We were learning the dance called The Virginia Reel. The Primary fours did brilliantly keeping in time to the music and remembering all the steps. Everyone was tired after all the dancing but thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a terrific afternoon we had in school as we welcomed prospective P1 and Bawn Bunnies parents and their children.  A lovely atmosphere saw children engage and play with fellow peers and school staff, whilst parents were able to enjoy a cuppa and presentation by Principal Mr. Hutchinson.
