Primary 1 Open Afternoon Tuesday 7th January 4pm - 6pm We warmly invite you to bring your son/daughter along from 4pm to play and have fun in our well resourced P1 classroom, meet our experienced staff and enjoy a short presentation by our Principal Mr. Hutchinson at 5.30pm. We will also have opportunities for your children to meet and engage in games in our sports hall with some of our after school providers too and enjoy some refreshments. Contact school if unable to attend and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit and view our wonderful school. Wool Innovators Exhibition at Balmoral Show

The Primary 5 and 6 pupils had the very exciting opportunity of visiting Balmoral Show after being selected to take part in the much sought after Wool Innovators project ran by Sentinus and Ulster Wool. This involved a workshop with representatives from both Sentinus and Ulster Wool in which the pupils investigated the properties and benefits of this natural resource.  Following the workshop, the class had to produce their own unique project for display in the Sheep Shearing section of Balmoral Show. This turned out to be quite a venture and lots of new knowledge and skills were gained along the way.  The pupils produced a fabulous display, spoke about their project and some pupils even got to speak about their project on BBC Ulster. Of course, there was also some time to enjoy the stunt bikes, animals and stalls too!
