Primary 5 pupils enjoyed a visit to Armagh Observatory and Planetarium today as part of their topic, Wild Weather. Sinead gave everyone a guided tour of the weather station, where daily recordings of the weather have been taken for the last 230 years! Well done to Rachel, in Primary 5, who came first in Armagh County Show’s Pre-Show Competition! 🥇 Rachel attended the Catalogue Launch in Gosford today and was presented with her prize!  Rachel’s artwork will be displayed in the Schools’ Section at the show on 14th June.  Well done, Rachel! A super achievement! 👏🏻

Today we enjoyed a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny who gifted every pupil and Bawn Bunny an Easter Egg. The bunny also enjoyed some dancing with Mr. Hutchinson and our school council members Joanna and Rowan drew the winning ticket 🎫 in their ‘Guess the name of the Bunny’ Competition, with Frankie Willis P1 our winner of the bunny who called him,  ‘Flopsy’ .

Our school Hockey Team have only gone and WON the mixed section of the George Compston Memorial annual tournament held at Ardmore today 🏆 (Played 8 games, 6 wins & 2 draws). Congratulations everybody on playing some fantastic Hockey and to teacher/coach Mrs Megaw. We are delighted to share some photos and videos of our recent RE Visitation. Primary 4 led our morning Assembly by re-enacting the story of Palm Sunday, whilst P5 wrote and read amazing prayers. A number of other pupils sang, welcomed and introduced songs and speakers before ministers visited classrooms to discuss Bible stories covered by each class.  A wonderful morning!
