The Eco Club and Primary 5 pupils had lots of fun creating a scarecrow for Garden Show Ireland. The children reused plastic bottles and milk lids to make beautiful flowers. The boys and girls in Eco Club enjoyed planting potatoes earlier this year.   They have been taking great care of them and even enjoyed a visit from Joanne who works for Wilson’s Country. P6/7 enjoyed the be safe workshop hosted by a selection of different groups such as police and fire service. There was lots of good information shared and the children all engaged really well with the different groups there.

Today started off very damp as we travelled to Blair Drummond Safari Park fuelled by a good nights sleep and great breakfast.  We started with a bus tour around the animals, particularly enjoying the rhinos, lions and ‘cheeky’ monkeys who climbed all over out coach to the shock and amusement of everyone onboard 🙈.  Next we visited the souvenir shops earlier than anticipated...

What a fantastic first day in Scotland. After our early departures from our respective schools, we enjoyed a smooth crossing across the Irish Sea, fuelled by tasty hot breakfasts of pancake stacks, cooked fry’s, granola/yogurt or scrambled eggs and toast.
